You want to weave an inkle band but cannot find “just the right design”. In this inkle design workshop, you will explore the skills needed to design your own unique plain weave inkle bands. We will explore sources for design inspiration, drafting inkle patterns, techniques and tools for graphing patterns. After we design our band on paper, we will use yarn with wraps and combs to see how our design might look as a real band.
