The Theory of Dominant Hue

The Theory of Dominant Hue

Judith MacKenzie

Thursday All Day

Color is a wonderful mix of magic and mystery! In this class, we will look at how to use a simple dye technique to transform all those random bits of yarn that those of us that love textiles can’t resist saving. The same technique is a useful tool to transform fabric and fiber as well. Wear dye clothes or bring an apron. Bring a variety of animal protein fiber yarns you might like to try.

Skill level: All welcome

Material Fee: $15 Color cards, notes, dye samples
