Woolen yarns are remarkable for their loft, warmth, elasticity and softness. Experience the many facets of their success, from fiber choice to preparation to drafting the fibers, discover what it takes to get loft and bounce in your yarns.
Skill level: Student must be able to draft a yarn. (beginner, intermediate, advanced: all welcome)
Material Fee: $10 Materials fees include all spinning fibers, Handouts in 8 1/2 by 11 format.
Student should bring a spinning device: spindle or wheel with which you are somewhat comfortable. Please bring hand carders if you have them. There will be a few available in class to borrow.
