Blending Silk, Flax and Paper
Judith MacKenzie
Friday PM
In our time together, we’ll look at three very interesting fibers – flax, silk and paper. These fibers reach far back in history but are having a wonderful revival in our spinning world. First, we’ll look at how they are traditionally used. Then, we’ll look at them from a modern perspective and how they can be spun and combined to make exquisite yarns for knitting, weaving and basketry.
