Make A Winterview Scarf

Cecelia Campochiaro

Saturday AM

Winterview is a textured triangular scarf with a slip-stitch border. It is an ideal small project, an easy sequence knit, and a one skein wonder. In class you will make a small swatch to get to know the pattern, and we’ll discuss what yarns can beused to make one. The pattern is included in the class and no prior knowledge of sequence knitting is needed.

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner. Students should be able to make tidy 4x4 ribbing without any laddering.

Material fee: $0

Student Supplies:

Students should bring two balls of yarn for swatching and appropriate needles. One ball is a main-color yarn and the other is a contrasting color yarn. The main-color yarn should be a solid color so it will be easy to see the pattern.
