Weavers need warp yarns and weft yarns, two very different items. Having these specialized yarns gives the textile designer greater scope to design the fabric of their dreams. In this class we will spin both warp and weft yarns and discuss how and why they are different. We'll then use those yarns to make a small weaving on a simple loom.
