Red Alder Fiber Arts Retreat: Knitted Knockers Collection
Join Us in Supporting Breast Cancer Survivors!
Welcome to the special charity initiative at the Red Alder Fiber Arts Retreat. This year, along with our traditional Fiber-In activities and silent auction, we're proud to host a collection for knitted knockers - handcrafted breast prostheses for breast cancer survivors.
How to Participate:
- Knit a Knocker: Follow the approved patterns and approved materials to create soft, comfortable knockers.
- Drop-off Location: Bring your knitted knockers to the Fiber-In Charity event during the retreat. Or you can drop them off at the registration desk.
- All Skill Levels Welcome: Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned knitter/crocheter, your contribution is valuable.

- Date: February 16, 2024
- Venue: Hotel Murano's Venice Ballroom
- Time: 7pm to 9pm
Additional Information:
- Materials: Please only use yarns on the approved list here in the appropriate colors. This is very important! Knockers made from other materials will not be accepted.
- Patterns and Guidelines: There are patterns for both knitters and crocheters.
