How do I register for classes?

Register at this link. Registration opens at 9am Pacific time on November 15, and remains open until until February 4, 2026.

How much do classes cost?

Pricing:

3 hr classes: $110
6 hr classes: $220
Spotlight Seminar $40

There is a one-time registration fee of $12.

Some classes have materials fees to cover specialized kits or materials used in class. Those are listed in the class descriptions and will be collected by the instructors at the start of class. Materials fees are not included in the class prices.

The class I want is sold out, will you have waitlists?

Yes, the registration page will offer the option to put yourself on a waitlist for sold-out classes.

Are there any tips for registering?

Tips for Registering:

  • On the Registration website the classes will be listed by Day and Class Title. Each Day will begin with Full Day Classes followed by AM and PM Classes.
  • There is a Search Bar at the beginning of the Sessions Section. You may wish to search for all classes of a certain subject, like all weaving classes. You can also use a key word in a title to find the class quickly or search for a certain instructor.
  • Choose your most desired classes first, don't wait to reach Sunday if the Sunday class is what you want most.
    Once a class is in your cart it is reserved and you may continue shopping.
  • Registering on a computer is faster than registering on a mobile device. Older iPads and iPhones may timeout
  • You must select at least one open class if you if wish to use the waitlists.

 

What is your policy for class changes or cancellations?

A full refund of class fees will be given for cancellations received by December 31, 2025.

Half of the class fees will be returned if cancelled by January 14, 2026

No refunds will be given after January 14, 2026 but you may assign your classes to another person with written notice.

The $12 registration fee is non-refundable.

Is there a fee for the evening and afternoon social events?

The Saturday evening Banquet price is $69, which includes both the Keynote and your meal.

What are the Marketplace hours?

Our marketplace is open Thursday through Sunday. It is free and open to the public.

Thursday 8:30am- 4:30pm
Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm
Sunday 9:00am-2:00pm

Is there a special hotel rate for the Hotel Murano?

Yes. You will receive a link to take advantage of our room discounts with your confirmed class and/or banquet registration.

Deluxe Two Double (2 double beds): $165 plus tax
King Deluxe (1 king bed): $165 plus tax
These rates can only be guaranteed through January 12, 2026. There is a $10 charge for each additional person over double.

Overnight parking for guests registered through our hotel link is $16 per night.

 

Can I connect with other attendees in advance to plan shared rides?

You may be able to arrange to share taxis, Ubers, or rental cars with other attendees, or plan to carpool from other cities, by reaching out through our dedicated Red Alder Ravelry Group and/or Facebook Group.

What are the on-site food options during the event?

The Hotel Murano has an onsite restaurant and bar, and we will have a quick-serve lunch kiosk in the Rotunda near the Marketplace for grab-and-go lunch options.
