Driving
The Hotel Murano is at 1320 Broadway Plaza near the Convention Center in Downtown Tacoma, Washington. It is just minutes away from Interstate 5 exit 133 to Highway 705 following signs to “City Center”.
Parking is available at the hotel for a discounted daily fee when you make your hotel reservations through our group rate.
Transportation to the Hotel Murano in downtown Tacoma, WA:
Flying
SeaTac Airport (SEA) is the nearest airport to Tacoma. Taxis, Uber, and shuttles are available for transport between the airport and the Murano hotel. You can book shuttle reservations ahead through Premier Airport Shuttle.
You may be able to arrange to share taxis, Ubers, or rental cars with other attendees by reaching out through our dedicated Red Alder Ravelry Group or Facebook Group.
It is also possible to travel via public transit by taking light rail from SeaTac to the Sounder station, the Sounder commuter train to the Tacoma Dome station, and the Light Rail to the hotel, as below.
Rail
From Portland and other points south, the train stops at the Tacoma Amtrak Station. Transfer there to the Tacoma Light Rail Trolley that stops within a block of the hotel. The last block is an uphill walk.
From Seattle, take the Sounder Commuter Train to the Tacoma Dome station. Transfer there to the free Tacoma Light Rail Trolley that stops within a block of the hotel. The last block is an uphill walk.
