Hotel Murano in Downtown Tacoma, Washington

Red Alder takes place at the Hotel Murano and its adjoining conference center in the middle of downtown Tacoma. This friendly and welcoming art hotel is a showplace for the region's glassworks and is located within walking distance of the Tacoma Museum of Glass, the UW Tacoma Campus, and a number of local eateries.

You’ll be able to reserve discounted rooms at the Hotel Murano once you’ve registered for classes and/or the banquet; links will be sent along with your class confirmation.

Rates:

Deluxe Two Double (2 double beds): $165 plus tax
King Deluxe (1 king bed): $165 plus tax

There is a $10 charge for each additional person over double.  Free internet access is included in the room rate. Please note: Overnight parking for guests registered through our hotel link is $16 per night. Patron floor rooms will not be available for our dates as the Hotel Murano is refurbishing those rooms.

Rooms will book quickly, so be sure to reserve your room early. These rates can only be guaranteed through January 12, 2026.
