Helix Knitting Magic

Helix Knitting Magic

Thursday AM

Helix Knitting is a magical way to knit stripes (and more) with no seam and no jog by creating completely interlocking spirals. You may have heard of this technique, but did you know how many options there are? In this workshop we’ll work hands on to explore the two different set ups, as well as the stationary join method and the slip stitch method. We’ll discuss pros and cons to each so you can pick the right set up and method for your project. We’ll also play with different uses of Helix including multi row stripes, and working garter in the round. Finally, we’ll look at different cast on options as well as explore shaping in Helix
